Prepping for your GED test can be a bit scary because  there are so many areas to cover and it can be overwhelming. However, with the right support, tools and resources, you can pass your GED.

The Novation Labs will be offering free GED tutoring and test preparation classes to help you focus on the major aspects of your GED exam.

The General Educational Development Test (GED) is a series of tests for students who are close to getting a diploma after high school or those who may have not completed educational studies.

You are only eligible to take a GED test if you are at least 16 years old and you’re not enrolled in any high school.

The GED test comparisons of 4 subjects;

• Mathematical Reasoning
• Reasoning Through Language Arts
• Science
• Social Studies

When you pass your GED test, you earn a state high school level diploma and an opportunity to get a better job or a higher degree in the future. Also the GED test is recognized by most companies, colleges, and universities.

The Novation Labs GED test preparation project is funded by the Dreams Keeper Initiative, a project that aims to improve the Black community by breaking poverty cycles via investing in its educational systems and resources.

Thanks to the collaborative efforts of both programs, you can access 45 minute tutoring sessions every Tuesday and Wednesdays at the Novation Lab located at 5813 Mission St. San Francisco, CA 94112. By enrolling for the preparation classes, you will learn one of the following courses

• Understanding Language Arts: This class would cover improving your writing skills and reading comprehension
• Mathematical Reasoning: This class will cover standard arithmetic, geometry, algebra, and data analysis
• Social Studies: This class will help you learn about economics, history, geography, and civics
• Sciences: This class entails topics about biology, chemistry, physics, as well as earth and space science.

Aside from the classes mentioned above, you will also receive valuable tips that will help you ace your GED tests. Everything from creating an excellent learning schedule, access to valuable resources to the values of studying as a group will be explained perfectly.
